Terms of service

These terms apply to the website splithub.io, to SplitHub Cloud (app.splithub.io and go.splithub.io) and to the services SplitHub provides there. By creating an account or using the services you accept them. The open-source packages (@splithub/*, splithub, @splithub/mcp) are licensed separately under the MIT license in their repository; these terms do not restrict that license.

The service

SplitHub Cloud stores experiment events sent by your applications, computes results, and provides a dashboard, a CLI, an MCP server and an HTTP API to manage experiments. We may change or discontinue features; material changes to paid features are announced by email at least 30 days ahead.

Accounts and keys

You are responsible for the activity under your account, your project API keys and your public keys. Keep API keys (sk_…) secret; the public key (pk_…) may be embedded in client code and only allows sending events. Tell us at [email protected] if a key is compromised.

Your data

Events you send remain yours. We process them only to provide the service (storage, statistics, alerts, AI reviews when enabled) and delete raw events after the retention period of your plan. You must not send data you are not allowed to process, and you must not send personal data beyond what is needed for experiments (a random visitor id is enough). You are responsible for the notices and consents your own site requires.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to attack, probe or overload it or other systems, to circumvent quotas, or to run experiments that are illegal where they run. We may suspend projects that threaten the stability of the platform and will tell you why.

Billing

Free quotas, packs and the Pro subscription are described on the pricing page. Packs are prepaid and non-refundable once exposures from them have been consumed; unused packs are refunded on request within 14 days of purchase. Pro renews monthly and can be cancelled at any time from the billing portal; it stays active until the end of the paid period. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes that may apply in your country.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We work for high availability but do not guarantee it, and we are not liable for indirect damages, lost revenue or data loss beyond the amount you paid us in the preceding three months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can delete projects and your account at any time; data is removed within 30 days. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms after notice, except in cases of abuse where immediate action is needed.
